    in response to your wild rice and mushroom soup recipe published this week, where can I find crimini mushrooms? or are they commonly called something else? I’ve looked at Hornbachers, Sams, Walmart but don’t see any mushrooms called crimini.

      Hi Denise and thank you for reading! Yes, great question – they are sometimes packaged as baby portabellas. We have found them to be regularly available at Hornbacher’s stores, but sometimes not marketed as crimini. However, you can always substitute another variety, and Tony recommends using a combo of 3 different types to build more depth of flavor.
