Welcome to our Blog!

We are Sarah and Tony Nasello, and we write a weekly food column called “Home with The Lost Italian,” which runs every Wednesday in Fargo’s local newspaper, The Forum. Sarah does most of the writing, so the posts will be written from her perspective.

We are thrilled to be joining you in this medium, too, and will post our columns and recipes here when they run in the newspaper, along with other musings about food, wine, family and life.

In 2000, we opened Sarello’s Restaurant & Wine Lounge, a fine dining restaurant located in downtown Moorhead, Fargo’s sister city. Before we became restaurateurs, we worked together throughout the 1990s as hotel officers aboard luxury cruise ships. We have sailed all around the world, from the Arctic to the Antarctic, with visits to all seven continents. We are passionate about food, wine, travel, family, friends, North Dakota, Italy, and especially our 8 year old son, Giovanni. We are delighted you have found us!
